A city police officer is under arrest after being accused of
trying to rape a 16-year-old. Peter Ciollo, 29, is also charged with giving
alcohol to a minor, endangering the welfare of a child and sexual abuse. Sources say the officer met the teen victim
through extended family. The officer was
off-duty at the time of the alleged attack, which happened on Staten Island.
Police have not said when the alleged attack took place.
