CORDELL, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says a Cordell police officer has been arrested on rape and sodomy complaints for allegedly having sex with a 15-year-old girl. The OSBI says 22-year-old Evan Garrett Riddle was arrested at the Washita County Sheriff's Office after being questioned by an OSBI agent on Thursday. He was booked into the county jail on $250,000 bond. Online jail records show Riddle remained in the jail Saturday. No attorney is listed for him. Cordell Police Chief Daniel Allen told radio station KECO that Riddle has been fired. Allen said the investigation began March 4 when officials with the Cordell school district reported the suspected relationship.
