A New Orleans Police Officer was arrested for raping his girlfriend’s 13-year-old daughter. It all began when she told her mother. She was ready to witness at court when the officer pleaded guilty himself. He admitted seven rapes against this girl. Two years passed by before they started on the case because the officer refused that he had anything to do with the raping, and the girl’s mother believed him. She said that her daughter trusted her boyfriend and that she almost saw him as a father figure.
Before the officer admitted the crime the girl was on a rape exam where they found clear signs on sexual abuse. The officer resigned immediately after arrest and he can get a life time in prison, for now he remains jailed with a $2,8 million bond in lieu.
